About Me

Nicki Guichon joined the Alberta Bar in 2014 and practices family law. After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Alberta, and her Juris Doctor from Dalhousie University, Nicki had the pleasure of working with youth at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Calgary, prior to articling at Children’s Legal & Educational Resource Centre (CLERC).  At CLERC, Nicki was the Lawyer for Youth, where she provided information, advice, and representation to youth on civil law matters. Her legal practice focused on pregnant and parenting youth, independent living, and immigration matters.

In 2016 Nicki joined Macphail Harding and provided legal services in all areas of family law. Nicki gained experience in high conflict family litigation representing both parents/spouses and children. Over the years Nicki narrowed her focus in family law to representing primarily children and youth.

Nicki recently became a caregiver to a high-energy 7-year-old and understands first-hand how rewarding and yet challenging parenting can be. Nicki enjoys spending time with her family, pets, and being in nature.
